Marriott has announced the reopening of Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach after an extensive refurbishment.

Located on the sandy beach of Nai Yang, considered one of the most scenic area of Phuket, the 180-room resort offers guests “authentic Thai hospitality within a transformed and modern Marriott.”

The resort is situated within the Sirinath National Park and is surrounded by tropical vegetation and lush green forest. It is a 10-minute drive from Phuket International Airport and adjacent to the old town of Nai Yang.

Rooms are designed in two unique styles; traditional-Thai with relaxing earth tones, or a more sleek-contemporary décor with modern and innovative touches, whilst exclusive luxurious Pool Villas are located right on the beachfront. The resort offers a choice of two restaurants, offering both Thai and international cuisine. All-day dining restaurant 'The Andaman Kitchen' features a wide array of dishes, whereas the beachfront 'Big Fish Restaurant & Bar' serves fresh seafood and a wide range of cocktails. Guests may also choose to enjoy afternoon tea in the spacious open-air lobby lounge.

A large lagoon-inspired swimming pool, 24 hour fitness centre, spa and pirate-themed Kid's Club are also available. The Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach is also an impressive venue for meetings and events. Its 126sqm ballroom and several function rooms offer plenty of natural light, and can cater to various types of events.

"Phuket welcomes approximately 12 million visitors per year, mostly tourists from European and Asian countries. Phuket is one of the largest contributors to Thailand's tourism industry, bringing around 200 billion Baht to the country each year. The opening of Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach, will address the needs of both local and international travelers," said Mr. David Ippersiel, General Manager of the Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach.
